Ms. Orly is the principal of Machell Realty, a four person, boutique real estate brokerage firm representing buyers and sellers throughout Northern California since 2004. In addition, Machell Realty handles commercial and residential property management. Elvira Orly is also a retired tax and real estate attorney, who headed The Orly Law Firm, Inc., a law firm she founded with offices originally in Europe, then in the San Francisco Financial District. Her career has included teaching corporate and partnership taxation at the University of California Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall), working at major law firms on Wall Street (Sullivan and Cromwell) and in San Francisco (Pettit, Evers and Martin, and Angell Brunner and Angell), serving as Legislative Director for a U.S. Senator, and being a Corporate Vice President for a U.S. Multinational Corporation (Browning Ferris Industries).
Elvira Orly splits her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Tahoe. She has an expertise in buyers using IRAs funds to purchase real estate. She also is knowledgeable about Section 1031 real estate exchanges.
